About Me
Hello everyone, I am Jose Beltran, a student at Year Up from Class 11. Year Up is an intense IT (Information Technology) program where we learn about hardware, software, and programming. Besides technology, I also learn business writing, public speaking, and career development. Year Up is a one year intense training program where we learn all of these subjects hands on, and then use it in our internship with a corporate company to prepare ourselves for success. Currently, I am going into a hybrid track in hardware and software.
To give a little background about myself, I was born in Mexico and came to the United States when I was very young. I have always lived in Chicago ever since, and I love it here. Some hobbies that I enjoy are listening to music, watching movies, playing sports, traveling, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I am very motivated to be successful, so I can be able to support my family because they have always supported me.
